Holy Week is right around the corner and there is no better place to learn about Holy Week than between the walls of your home with your children.
Recently at church, a Brother in Christ was sharing his testimony of coming to the Lord. It wasn’t until he came to church for the first time 3 years ago as a 28-year-old that he learned that Easter had to do with Jesus! WOW. He grew up about an hour away from our community. Think about all the lives in our local community that have no idea that Easter is ALL about Jesus. It is so important to share the Easter story with our children and the community around us! It is a beautiful week to celebrate!
For the last two years I have done this visual chart with my children. I love having the visual and the boys love having a “craft” every day. I took this idea from the Domestic Notebook Blog. Each day during Holy Week, there is a topic, easy craft, scripture reading, and song. Find more information on her blog: http://thedomesticnotebook.blogspot.com/2010/03/holy-week-calendar.html
